Fuchsberg Center
United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism
In 2009, the Fuchsberg Center developed two educational programs for the study of the Shoah in the Russian language.
Two age-differentiated groups met in the Fuchsberg Center weekly to study one of the following topics: Judaism, the state of Israel or contemporary society and art, all in the context of the Holocaust. In addition to lectures and discussions, the participants had joint excursions and celebrations of Jewish holidays. The project was led by the staff of Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Authority.
