Holocaust’s Children Fate

The project is aimed at researching information and documentaries about children who survived and died during the Holocaust with its further accumulation and dissemination in the media and Internet.

It is also planned to organize at least two events devoted to these children including participation of some of those who survived. Finally, a book of poems written by a survived child prisoner of the concentration camp Ravensbrück will be published and presented.

This grant is a part of Grassroots annual competition, organized by Genesis Philanthropy Group and UJA-Federation of New York. The goal of the competition is to discover and support the best local initiatives aimed at the revival of Jewish identity, the preservation of cultural and historical heritage and the development of socially active Jewish communities.

Goals and objectives

  • Research information on the fates of children of the Holocaust.
  • Make a series of publications on research results in the media and on the Internet.
  • Organize few events - concerts devoted to the fates of children of the Holocaust.
  • Prepare and publish a book of poems by Stella Nikiforova, former camp prisoner.
