Jewish School Today and Tomorrow

Jewish School Today and Tomorrow

Moscow National Jewish School No.1311 was one of the first Russian schools to incorporate a Jewish ethno-cultural component into its curriculum.

Today, it is one of the best Jewish schools in Moscow and all of the FSU. The school strives to fully engage students in Jewish culture and traditions while at the same time giving them the modern, secular education necessary to meet the demand for highly educated high school graduates in Russian and foreign universities.

Appreciating the importance of Jewish secular education in forming and enhancing Jewish identity, Genesis Philanthropy Group awarded a grant to support the Jewish School Today and Tomorrow program, which aims to further develop the school's educational offerings. Jewish Schools Today and Tomorrow will create an effective model of a secular Jewish school, utilizing a differentiated model for high school education, based on a learner-centered approach.

The school is supported by Genesis Philanthropy Group and World ORT.
