Leadership Program

Leadership Program

The Leadership Program was launched in 2012 as part of the unified initiative of educational programs for the IDF.

This program is designed to serve a select group of 20-30 talented and committed young leaders, part of them of Russian speaking background, ages 25-45. All the participants have previously demonstrated their outstanding leadership skills in various Israeli frameworks such as the IDF, college campuses, educational institutions, media, community and philanthropy.

Participants will attend a 10-day seminar on leadership based on multicultural approach emphasizing the discourse in Israeli society and meaning of real leadership in Jewish tradition.
The Institute of Leadership is supported by partnership of Beit Morasha, Friends of the IDF and Genesis Philanthropy Group.

Goals and Objectives

  • Form the concept of community leadership among young Russian-speaking Jews.
  • Create a cohort of young leaders for joint projects in Israel's Russian-speaking communities.
  • Strengthen the Jewish identity of Russian-speaking Israelis in an atmosphere of cultural pluralism.
