DAVAI ! – TOURS OF JEWISH HERITAGE SITES

The DAVAI! Tour was launched in 2008 with support from Genesis Philanthropy Group.
The program was designed for young Russian-speaking Jews from the United States and the FSU (ages 22–28) and offered participants educational tours of Spanish cities which are significant in the Jewish history.
Program participants not only learned about the country, which was the site of a number of significant historical events.
The program also supported educational and cultural events throughout the entire year in Philadelphia and Chicago, the cities of residence for the majority of the participants.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE GRANT
