Limmud NY: Outreach to RSJ Participants
In 2009, Genesis Philanthropy Group supported a four-day Limmud conference in New York.
The funding was used to increase the number of Russian-speaking attendees. The conference offered many lectures, seminars, exhibitions, performances and other events on Jewish history and culture.
The program of the conference was aimed at a wide and diverse audience consisting of representatives of the New York Jewish communities, all of different ages, professions and socio-economic status.
Genesis Philanthropy Group has joined the UJA Federation of New York, Jewish Federations of North America, Bikkurim, JESNA, the Picower Foundation, and the Samuel Bronfman Foundation in supporting this project.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE GRANT
