Institute of Informal Education: 2008 Israel Conference

The Institute of Informal Education was established in 2006 in order to professionalize and improve the field of informal education for Russian-speaking Jews around the world. Under the guidance of Genesis Philanthropy Group, the Institute convenes a seminar for up to 100 Russian-speaking Jewish educators across Israel. The purpose of the seminar is to create a stronger network among these professionals and to take inventory of existing educational resources available to the Russian-speaking Jewish population.

This initiative is part of an effort by Genesis to gain an insight into the dynamics of informal education in Israel, and to identify potential partners among leaders and organizations in the field.
