Eva Gladshtein

Eva GladshteinEva Gladshtein is a Program Manager at Genesis Philanthropy Group in Israel.

Eva was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, and made aliyah with her family in 1989 at the age of five. She felt comfortable living in Israel, but it was only after her army service brought her on a Birthright trip with a group of Russian-speaking Jews from Germany, that she saw the difference between immigration and aliyah, and realized that Israel would always be her home.

Eva holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Management from the Technion. After graduating, she served in the Israel Defense Forces for five years as an economist in the headquarters of the IAF. She is currently pursuing another degree at Bar Ilan's Contemporary Jewry program. Her thesis is focused on comparing Jewish identity between first and second generation Russian-speaking Jewish immigrants in Germany.

Eva was honored to receive a Charlie Award and participate in the Decade Alumni Birthright group, further inspiring her to contribute to causes that strengthen Jewish Peoplehood.

In addition to spending as much time as possible with her husband and son, Eva’s personal interests include traveling, learning new languages, and fashion.
