Victoria Svirin

Victoria was born in Kharkov, the Ukraine. She made aliyah with her family in 1990, and served in the Military Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Forces as a translator from Arabic to Hebrew.

Victoria studied at Hebrew University and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Middle Eastern Studies and International Relations, and a Master degree in Conflict Management and Resolution.

After graduating, Victoria joined the Jewish Agency for Israel and worked there for four years as a Program Manager. She was in charge of programs for lone soldiers, volunteer programs and a youth program for Russian-speaking Jews from Germany and North America. As a result, she has extensive experience with the Russian-speaking community in Israel and abroad.

Victoria has an interest in the Middle East geopolitics and history, as well as teaching Hebrew.
