Sefer

Established in 1994, Sefer is a network of scholars, researchers, university students, doctoral students and other individuals interested in Jewish studies. Sefer's goals are to support research in the field, to improve how Jewish subjectsare taught in FSU-based universities, and to offer scholars professional development opportunities in their field. GPG's grant will support Sefer's annual student conference in Moscow, a Moscow-based summer school, two "field" schools in Ukraine and Romania, and Eshnav, a summer program at Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
