Julia Khodorova

Julia Khodorova is Senior Program Manager for Genesis Philanthropy Group in the Former Soviet Union (CAF Russia). Julia graduated from the Russian Academy for Civil Service in 2003 with a Ph.D. in Political Science. Her graduate research focused on ethnic relations in multicultural societies. Prior to joining CAF Russia, Julia specialized in sociological research and worked for an international firm as a Senior Marketing Researcher.

Julia joined CAF Russia in 2004 as Development Manager. Since then, she has gained extensive experience as a consultant for corporate and private donors, as well as foundations. She has worked to create effective charitable programs and streamlined organizational development, and has conducted analytical research in the field of NGO and civil society development in the FSU. Julia has also worked as a Senior Program Manager for Community Foundations (supported by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation), which aims to promote charitable foundations in the FSU, where she became knowledgeable in grant competition procedures by working actively with grantees.
