Sana Britavsky

Sana Britavsky is the Executive Director of Genesis Philanthropy Group in Israel.
Sana was born in Odessa to a family of refusniks. In her school years she was involved in the Jewish youth movement in the Former Soviet Union, and in 1990 she immigrated to Israel with her family.
Sana served in the Israel Defense Forces at Sde-Boker and participated in a special IDF course for university students. She holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in General History and Art History, and a Master’s in General History with a focus on youth movements in Germany and Austria between 1933-1939.
Sana has worked as a tour guide for nine years and has been involved in leading more than 20 Taglit-Birthright groups. She has worked on multiple projects run by the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, managed Jewish children's summer camps in the Ukraine, and worked on projects in the Former Soviet Union aimed at promoting the State of Israel. Sana passionately believes in social justice and charity work, and is committed to the people of Israel and the broader Jewish world.
Sana's interests include history, theology and literature, including translations from and into Hebrew.
